Pinterest recently launched a 30-day, holiday inspired calendar highlighting celebrity and business pin boards. The calendar, "30 Days Of Pinspiration" (kicked off on November 20th with a board curated by celebrity talk show host Katie Couric. Couric's board, "My Thanksgiving Traditions - Now & Then!," is a look at the journalist's favorite Thanksgiving recipes, decor, traditions, etc.
30 Days of Pinterest
Each business day until January 4th, a new board will be posted. Pinterest promises many exciting boards to come, compiled by the likes of celebrity chef Paula Deen and Fortune 500 company Starbucks.
"30 Days of Pinspiration" comes shortly after Pinterest announced another new feature launched in time for the holidays - secret boards. This new feature (still in a testing stage) allows pinners to create up to three boards that are not view-able by the general public. Secret boards can be shared with friends or family of your choosing. Of course, this is perfect for people creating holiday wish lists - simply pin the items on your list and share with the people closest to you.
To create a secret board simple click "Add +" from the top-left menu, then "Create a Board" and switch the "Secret" slider to "On."
Have you tried out any of Pinterest's new features yet? Is there a feature you hope Pinterest will roll out in 2013?
